South Bend (SBN) is the easy local option. Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW) give us more route choices. Allow roughly 45–60 minutes to SBN and 2½–3½ hours to Chicago airports from Goshen, before parking and check-in; traffic can add more.
Drive figures below are planning estimates, not live traffic. Add meal, diaper and playground stops. Flight routes describe airports to compare; July 2027 schedules and fares must be checked for both Saturdays. No airfare is included in the $15,000 house cap.
Plan rental cars and car seats before choosing a flight destination. Twenty-five people will need several vehicles.

We searched 8+ bedrooms without relying on restrictive guest filters. The working group is 13 adults and 12 children, including approximately 2 infants. Seven adult family bedrooms plus a bunkroom is the ideal layout. Published occupancy and actual bed arrangements are shown separately.
Manager quotes are prioritized, with Airbnb and Vrbo cross-checks where accessible. Marketing “save versus Airbnb” comparisons are not independent quotes. A missing checkout total stays unverified; a starting nightly rate is never treated as this week’s cost.
These are specific leads checked, not a claim that every home in each destination has been exhausted. A failed lead does not rule out its entire region.
Recheck the exact total and cancellation terms, confirm all 25 guests with the host where flagged, assign bedrooms, and confirm pool gates/locks and crib availability. Assign beds by age and reserve upper bunks for children old enough to use them safely. July 2027 attraction calendars and park access rules should be revisited closer to departure.
